The Bywaytr condominium complex on Bywatyr Lane is Black Rock’s only true townhouse style complex. Located near the Fayerweather Yacht Club, many of the units have water views of Black Rock Harbor, but the complex is not direct waterfront. Some units do not have any water views.
The 23 unit complex was built in 1987. All the units are approximately the same size (1,786 SF, 2 BR, 2.5 BA) with the same layout. There is a ground floor with an oversized one car garage with plenty of room for a second car to park in front of the garage. There is also parking in nearby parking spaces for an additional vehicle or guests. There is a first floor laundry area off the hallway and a room that can be used as an office or family room or exercise room with two sets of sliding glass doors onto a covered patio. The second floor consists of a formal dining room, kitchen, half bath, and living room with gas or woodburning fireplace and sliders onto a large deck. The third floor has two bedroom suites. The master bedroom suite has a fireplace and sliders onto a balcony. There is a large master bathroom with a jetted tub and separate shower. The second bedroom has its on ensuite bathroom. The townhouses have gas heat and central air conditioning.
